What is Candy Shorts, in plain English?

You are three scrolls into a clip you did not mean to watch: a hushed argument, a glance that lasts a beat too long, then a title card promising "episode 2". Someone in the comments asks what this is, and someone else answers with one word that explains nothing. So here is the longer answer.

Candy Shorts is a feed of short, scripted series inside Candy AI. Each series is a complete story told in vertical episodes of under about two minutes, and every episode is AI-generated rather than filmed.

You can reach it three ways: the Shorts tab in Candy AI's main menu, candy.ai/candy-shorts, or candyshorts.com. The page itself is titled "CandyShorts | Irresistible Short Series & Episodes".

The key idea is that it is watch-only. You do not steer the plot or pick branches. You press Play and a pre-written story unfolds, which makes it feel closer to a TV episode than a game.

What is Candy AI, and who runs it?

Candy AI is an adult AI companion platform at candy.ai, operated by EverAI Limited, a Malta-registered company (company number C107181). Its main menu includes AI Girlfriend, AI Boyfriend (Guys) and Anime categories, alongside Chat, Collection, Generate Image, Create Character, My AI and Private Content.

Candy says it is "Trusted by 50 million people worldwide", which is its own marketing claim, so treat it as a brand line. It also publishes Terms of Service, a Privacy Notice, Community Guidelines and other policies, which is where to look for the rules on content and billing.

Premium, the paid tier, lists the ability to create your own AI girlfriend(s), generate 18+ images and videos, send unlimited text messages and receive 100 tokens per month. Card charges show as "EverAI" on bank statements.

How does a Candy Shorts episode work?

Think of each episode as a small, complete scene with one job: make you press the next arrow. At under two minutes, you can test a series in the time it takes to make a coffee.

Before you press play

Each series card shows its tags, an episode count (for example "5 episodes" or "27 episodes"), a one-line premise and a Play button. The premise line is your trailer.

Inside the episode

• Length: under about two minutes.
• Structure: one short scene that closes on a cliffhanger, in the microdrama style.
• Whole story: pre-written, with a beginning, a middle and an end across the series.
• Subtitles: reported in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.

The lock

Independent reviewers report that episodes 1 and 2 of every regular series are free with an account. From episode 3 you need Premium plus tokens, about 12 per episode on regular series and about 30 on creator series.

Unlocked episodes are reported to stay on your account, but they are watch-only, so there are no downloads. In practice, a typical 5-episode series costs about 36 tokens to finish.

How is Candy Shorts different from other microdrama apps?

Short vertical series with 1 to 2 minute episodes, cliffhangers and pay-per-episode locks were popularized by apps like ReelShort and DramaBox. Candy Shorts borrows that format and applies it to adult, AI-generated stories.

The differences that matter are these: the stories are AI-generated rather than filmed, the audience is adults only, and each series can lead into a chat with its featured character.

How does Candy Shorts connect to Candy AI chat?

This is the part that makes Shorts more than a video feed. When a series ends, you can open a private chat with the featured character and keep the story going on your own terms.

One catch: reviewers report that watching does not change your chat history or the character's memory. The chat does not automatically know what happened in the episode, so fill the character in yourself, as you would catch up a friend who missed it.

Candy's menu also lists Create Character and Generate Image for people who want to go beyond the featured characters. Those are separate Premium features, not part of the Shorts feed, so you can ignore them until you want them.

Where do you watch Candy Shorts, and is there an app?

Candy runs in the browser, so you can open candy.ai or candyshorts.com on your phone or your computer without installing anything. The Shorts tab sits in the main menu once you are in.

If you want one-tap access on iPhone, Candy's site prompts you to tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. That puts it on your home screen with notifications for new messages, new features, and sales and discounts.

Be wary of any APK file or "Candy Shorts app" from a third-party site. Random APKs are a common malware risk, and the browser route is the normal, safe way to get Candy on your phone.

Is Candy Shorts free, and what does it cost?
