Candy AI app: how to put Candy Shorts on your phone the safe way

Is there an official Candy AI app?

A friend texts you a screenshot of a cliffhanger with one line underneath: is there an app for this? You open your phone's app store, type the name, and wonder which of the results, if any, is the real one.

Candy AI runs in your browser at candy.ai, and Candy's own site tells iPhone users to get the app by tapping Share, then Add to Home Screen. That puts an icon on your home screen and, if you allow it, sends notifications about new messages, new features, and sales and discounts. If you searched for "Candy Shorts app", the answer is the same.

This kind of install is called a progressive web app, or PWA. It's a normal, safe way to install a web app, and it isn't a file you download from a stranger's website.

How do you add Candy AI to your iPhone home screen?

Candy's own prompt covers the core of this. Here's the full route:

1. Open your iPhone's browser and type candy.ai into the address bar yourself. Don't tap an ad or a link from a message.
2. Log in, or use Join Free to create an account if you don't have one.
3. Tap the Share button.
4. Choose Add to Home Screen.
5. Confirm the name and add the icon.
6. Open Candy AI from the new icon, and allow notifications if you want them.

Menu names can shift between iOS versions. If you don't see an option, look for Candy's own prompt on the site.

How do you install Candy AI on Android?

The prompt we verified on Candy's site is the iPhone one, so treat this list as the standard browser route for any web app. Wording differs between browsers and phones.

1. Open your browser (Chrome, for example) and type candy.ai into the address bar yourself.
2. Log in, or use Join Free to create an account.
3. Open the browser menu, usually the three dots near the address bar.
4. Choose Add to Home screen or Install app, whichever your browser shows.
5. Confirm the name and add the icon.
6. Launch Candy AI from the icon, and allow notifications if you want them.

Don't see either option? Update your browser or try a different one. Don't fall back on an APK file from a download site.

On a computer

Candy is a website, so any desktop browser works with the same login. There's nothing to install, and a bookmark does the job.

Should you use a home-screen shortcut or just a browser bookmark?

Both routes use the same website and the same account, so it comes down to taste.

Choose the home-screen shortcut if

• You want one-tap access to candy.ai.
• You want notifications about new messages, new features, and sales and discounts.
• It's your own phone, and nobody else looks at your screen.

Choose a bookmark or a plain browser tab if

• You'd rather not have an icon sitting on your home screen.
• You share a device with family or housemates.
• You don't want notifications at all.

Either way, type the address yourself the first time. If you pay for Premium, your card statement shows "EverAI" whichever route you use, and Candy says you can cancel any time in settings.

Why aren't adult apps in the app stores, and what is a mod APK?

Adult apps are generally restricted on mainstream app stores. Candy runs in the browser, which fits that picture, so the home-screen route is the official way to get an app-style icon.

That gap is where fake apps appear. Pages that offer a "Candy AI APK" or "Candy AI mod APK" tend to promise free tokens or unlocked Premium. A mod APK is a modified Android installation file from an unofficial source.

What can go wrong

• Malware or spyware on your phone, which is the main risk with random APK files.
• Stolen logins or card details, if the file or its page asks for them.
• Promises of free tokens or Premium that you can't verify and that put your account at risk.
