What is the Candy AI short series?

A friend sends you a clip with no context: a dim hallway, a whispered line, a hard cut to black. You trace the watermark through three tabs and wonder whether this is a show, a game or an ad. It is a fair question, and it has a short answer.

The Candy AI short series, known as Candy AI Shorts, is the short-series feed inside Candy AI. You will find it as the Shorts tab in the main menu, at candy.ai/candy-shorts and on candyshorts.com. Every series is a pre-written, AI-generated adult story with a beginning, a middle and an end, told in episodes that run under about two minutes.

If you have ever binged vertical microdramas, the rhythm will feel familiar. Apps like ReelShort and DramaBox popularized short episodes, cliffhangers and pay-per-episode locks. Candy Shorts applies that same format to adult, AI-generated stories, which is why it is strictly 18+.

Candy AI itself is operated by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta. Shorts is one part of a bigger platform built around AI characters you can talk to, and we come to that below.

Who is it for? Adults who like bingeable stories and want to sample before paying.

Who should skip it? Anyone under 18, and anyone who wants live actors, since the episodes are AI-generated.

How does a Candy AI Shorts episode work, start to finish?

Each series appears as a card with tags, an episode count (such as "5 episodes" or "27 episodes"), a one-line premise and a Play button. Press Play and the first episode starts.

The shape of an episode

• Short: episodes run under about two minutes, so one more really is just one more.
• Hooked: each one is built to end on a cliffhanger.
• Locked from episode 3: independent reviewers report that episodes 1 and 2 are free, and the rest need Premium plus tokens.

How long is a series?

Most series have 5 episodes, and a few run much longer, up to about 34. A typical 5-episode series therefore adds up to roughly 10 minutes or less, an approximation based on the under-two-minute episode length.

Unlocked episodes are reported to stay unlocked on your account, though they are watch-only with no downloads. Reviewers also report subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.

Is Candy AI Shorts free?

Partly, and the split is clear. This is based on independent reviewer reports from September and October 2026, plus our check of Candy's own pages on 14 October 2026.

Do the maths for a typical 5-episode series: 3 locked episodes at about 12 tokens each comes to about 36 tokens. Premium lists 100 tokens per month, which covers roughly two to three typical series.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Candy's subscriptions page showed 12 months at $3.99 per month (billed $47.88 a year), 3 months at $8.99 per month, and 1 month at $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99. A free-first way to start

Open several series and watch only the first two episodes of each. That costs nothing and shows you which premises actually hook you, before a single token is spent.

What kinds of stories are in Candy Shorts?

Think in moods rather than titles. The filters at the top of the feed include All series, New and Spicy, plus category tags such as Fantasy, Maid and Wife. A Brand new section highlights recent additions.

The one-line premise on each card is the quickest mood check, so read it before you press Play.

• Fantasy adventure: magic, myth and big, strange settings.
• Workplace power plays: rivalries, status games and secrets that leak into the open.
• Domestic drama: households where everyone seems to be hiding something.
• Creator-led series: licensed AI likenesses of adult creators, which cost more tokens per locked episode.

Can you chat with the characters after you watch?

Yes, and that is the bigger picture. After a series you can open a private chat with the featured character. Candy's core product is AI characters you talk to, and Shorts work as a story-first way in.

There is one catch. Watching is separate from chatting: reviewers report that watching an episode does not change your chat history or the character's memory, so you will need to fill the character in yourself. A simple trick is to open the chat by telling the character what just happened in the episode, which gives you a shared starting point.

Is Candy AI Shorts safe and legit?

On paper, the company side checks out. When we checked candy.ai on 14 October 2026, it named EverAI Limited (Malta, company number C107181) as the operator and published its Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, Cookies Notice, Community Guidelines, Content Removal Policy and more.

Card charges show as "EverAI" on bank statements.

On billing, Candy states that plans renew automatically for the same price and term, and that you can cancel any time in settings. It also says it is "Trusted by 50 million people worldwide", which is its own marketing claim, so read it as a brand line rather than an audit. Use common sense with privacy too: think about what you share in chats and consider a separate email address for sign-up.

The bigger risk is fakes: lookalike sites, random APK files and "free token" generators. Stick to candy.ai and candyshorts.com, and read our full safety check before you pay.

Are leaked Candy Shorts episodes the real thing?

Mostly not what they claim. According to independent reviewers, the "leaks" circulating online are mostly copies of the already-free episodes or screen recordings of paid ones. "Free full episode" sites are frequently spam, scam gates or malware, and Candy's terms allow personal, non-commercial use while prohibiting reposting.

Is it worth trying? Our verdict in three lines
