Is Candy AI safe? The official site names its operator, publishes its policies and lists its billing terms, so legit is a fair word. The bigger risks are fakes and your own privacy habits. Here's what we verified, what we couldn't, and a checklist to use before you pay.

Short answer

Fact-checked Oct 14, 2026

Yes, the official site at candy.ai appears legitimate. It is operated by EverAI Limited (Malta, company no. C107181), publishes its terms and policies, and states that plans renew automatically and can be cancelled any time in settings. The real risks are fake sites, mod APKs, free-token generators and leak pages, plus what you choose to share in chats. It is for adults only.

Is Candy AI safe and legit? What we could verify

A friend texts you a screenshot of a Candy AI ad with three words underneath: "is this legit?" You open a fresh tab and type the question you'd ask before handing over a card number, half expecting a sales pitch and half expecting a scare story.

Short answer: the official site, candy.ai, looks legitimate, and it is open about the basics. When we checked on 14 October 2026, it named its operator (EverAI Limited, Malta, company no. C107181), listed prices and renewal terms, and linked a full set of published policies. Card charges show as "EverAI" on bank statements.

What we can't tell you is how well the company secures data internally. We haven't audited its security, and nobody outside the company can promise that. So "legit" here means a real business with visible rules, not a guarantee. The sections below separate what you can verify from what is up to you.

Candy's own marketing says it is "Trusted by 50 million people worldwide". That is a claim from the company, not an independent count, so treat it as marketing.

Who runs Candy AI?

Candy AI is operated by EverAI Limited, a company in Malta with company number C107181, according to the official site. Candy Shorts, the series feed, lives at candy.ai/candy-shorts and at candyshorts.com. Inside Candy AI it's the "Shorts" tab in the main menu.

A named operator matters because you know who the contract is with and who to contact. If you want a second source, you can check the company number against Malta's public company records yourself.

Where help lives

The site lists a Help Center, a Discord server and a Contact Us page. If something goes wrong with a charge, start there, then use the published Complaint Policy.

What policies does Candy AI publish?

Candy publishes a long list of documents, which is a good sign for transparency, whatever you think of the content itself:

  • Terms of Service
  • Privacy Notice
  • Cookies Notice
  • Underage Policy
  • Content Removal Policy
  • Blocked Content Policy
  • DMCA Policy
  • Complaint Policy
  • 18 U.S.C. 2257 Exemption
  • Community Guidelines
  • Affiliate Terms

You don't need to read all eleven. Start with three: the Privacy Notice (what's collected), the Terms of Service (what you may do with the content, which is personal, non-commercial use and no reposting) and the Complaint Policy (what to do if something looks wrong).

Is Candy AI billing transparent?

Mostly yes, on the plans page. At the time of writing (October 2026), the 12-month plan is $3.99/month billed $47.88 per year, the 3-month plan is $8.99/month billed $26.97 per quarter, and the 1-month plan is $9.99 for the first month then $13.99/month. Shorter billing options (every 2 weeks at $9.79 and weekly at $5.60) also appear at checkout. Always confirm the numbers on the checkout page, and see our Candy AI pricing breakdown for the full picture.

The three billing facts to know

  • Auto-renewal. Plans renew automatically for the same price and term, so a weekly plan renews weekly. Check which term you picked.
  • Cancelling. Candy says you can cancel any time in settings. Our cancellation guide explains it in general terms.
  • Taxes. "Additional local taxes may apply," so the total can differ from the headline price.

The bank-statement name is "EverAI", not "Candy AI". Knowing that in advance saves you a panicked search through your statement when the charge lands.

How do you protect your privacy on Candy AI?

The platform is one half of the equation. You're the other half. Candy's Privacy Notice is the source of truth for what it collects, so read it once. Beyond that, a few common-sense habits go a long way:

  • Treat chats as semi-public. Don't share your full name, address, workplace or anything you'd hate to see exposed.
  • Use a separate email. A dedicated address keeps adult sign-ups away from your main inbox.
  • Use a unique password. Never reuse one from your email or bank.
  • Know the descriptor. Card charges show as "EverAI", which doesn't include the Candy name.
  • Mind your notifications. If you add Candy to your home screen and turn on alerts, check what previews appear on your lock screen.

Candy runs in the browser, so you don't need a third-party install for any of this. We cover the official route in our guide to Candy AI on your phone.

Is Candy AI a scam? The real risks are the fakes

The genuine threats around Candy AI aren't the official site. They're the imitations built on its popularity.

Lookalike sites and login pages

A page that copies the look but not the address can capture your email, password or card. Type the address yourself and check the spelling. Our official login guide shows what to look for.

Mod APKs and fake apps

The official route to a phone shortcut is Add to Home Screen from the browser. Random APK files from third-party sites are a common malware risk, and no "mod" is a legitimate way to get Premium.

"Free token" generators and trial-code pages

The plans page we checked on 14 October 2026 lists no free-token generator and no trial code. Sites that promise them are a common way to harvest card details, emails or survey clicks.

Leak and "free full episode" sites

Independent reviewers report these are frequently spam, scam gates or malware. Our leaks explainer covers what they really are and the legit free route.

Legit is not the same as right for you

A site can be legitimate and still be the wrong fit. Candy AI is adult entertainment for people 18 and over, and it includes explicit content. It renews automatically, and episodes beyond the free ones need tokens on top of a subscription.

Ask yourself three things. Are you comfortable with the content? Will you remember to cancel if you stop using it? Can you stick to a token budget? If the answers are yes, the free episodes let you test the product at no cost. Our Candy Shorts review covers whether paying is worth it.

If the answers are no, walking away is a perfectly good outcome, and the free tier won't have cost you anything.

Quick questions

Who owns and operates Candy AI?

According to the official site, Candy AI is operated by EverAI Limited, a company in Malta with company number C107181. Card charges show as "EverAI" on bank statements. Candy also lists a Help Center, Discord and Contact Us page if you need to reach the company.

What will Candy AI show on my bank statement?

Card charges show as "EverAI" rather than "Candy AI". If you see that name, check your subscription in settings. Plans renew automatically for the same price and term, and Candy says you can cancel any time in settings.

Are Candy AI mod APKs or free token generators safe?

No. Random APK files from third-party sites are a common malware risk, and the plans page we checked on 14 October 2026 listed no free-token generator or trial code. Use the browser at candy.ai, or Add to Home Screen from the official site, instead.

Should I use a separate email for Candy AI?

It's a sensible habit. A dedicated email keeps adult sign-ups away from your main inbox, and a unique password limits the damage if any site is ever breached. Candy's Privacy Notice explains what the company collects, so read it before you sign up.
